Car and Driver 10 Best Cars

St Louis Toyota Camry DealerRecently, Car and Driver Magazine released their list of the 10 best cars of 2013.  Toyota’s pressroom is happy to announce that “the Scion FR-S earned recognition from Car and Driver, the world’s largest automotive publication, as part of its ‘10 Best Cars of 2013’.”  The highlighted vehicles all fall below $80,000 in price and will be available on dealer lots for the 2013 buying year.  Scion’s vice president Doug Murtha responded about the success of the vehicle stating, “Making the Car and Driver 10 Best list in its first year is another example of the energy and enthusiasm building around the FR-S and the fun driving experience it offers.  The success of the FR-S reflects the Scion mission to give drivers vehicles that fit their lifestyles and express their individuality.”

The FR-S started arriving in showrooms in June and has received a fanfare welcome from car enthusiasts.  It has a performance rating that anyone can appreciate with its 200 horsepower engine and 151 lb-ft of torque.  You can find the full article of the FR-S in Car and Driver magazine to hit newsstands in the January issue.

Recently autonews.com interviewed Jack Hollis, the Marketing Vice President of the Toyota Division.  Hollis touched on some important factors of selling Toyota cars in this upcoming year.  One thing is for sure, marketing across all businesses will not be able to overlook the power of social media this year.  It has quickly become a rising star in the world of business and sales and people of all ages are turning to it when shopping for products.
