Toyota is “Making Life Easier”

Toyota awards scholarships

Toyota is known worldwide for their ability to make great, dependable cars.

That is something that the automaker is proud to be known for, but more importantly, Toyota appreciates the opportunity to give back to the community as much as possible.  This type of giving back is done through many different programs that Toyota offers to communities and schools.  Most recently, Toyota’s press room announced their expansion of a scholarship program they offer through the Boys and Girls Clubs of America and other non-for-profit partners across the country.  Toyota plans to award $1 million in scholarships during 2013 through these programs.

Toyota awards these scholarships allowing “economically disadvantaged youth to pursue their higher education goals by providing up to $20,000 for university, college, trade or vocational school tuition and fees.”  Toyota hopes that by expanding their “Making Life Easier” scholarship to $1 million that they will be able to reach even more students across the nation.

Toyota also helps local schools through their annual “Back to School Drive” event where this year they collected more than 700 backpacks to be able to help children go to school with the tools they need to succeed in the classroom.

When you purchase a new or used Toyota Corolla St. Louis, you are not only getting an awesome car, but you are also helping Toyota help others through charitable giving.  It feels great to invest in a business that you know cares about more than just the annual profits they receive from their consumers.  Stay up-to-date with Toyota’s community giving this year.  We expect to see great things from our nameplate this year.  As our sales continue to rise beyond expectations, our giving will follow right behind!  Thank you for your continued support.
