Toyota Gives Back


The Toyota Racing team... 

has become known in the industry for their willingness to give back.  Toyota recently awarded The Toyota Racing Dream Trip Grand Prize to a fan by the name of Christina R. from Buckeye, Arizona.  This followed to big giveaways including $50,000 to Kyle Busch’s charity and another $50,000 split between three other charities.

Toyota_Racing_Gives_BackThe winner of the Dream Trip Grand Prize will have the luxury of choosing between a NASCAR or NHRA race event.  She will get two NASCAR Hot Passes, a $1,500 American Express gift card and “up-close exposure to the team garages and pre-race activity during ‘hot’ times at the track” according to Toyota’s pressroom.

Keith Dahl, Toyota’s national motorsports and engagement marketing manager commented on the recent giveaway stating, “We’re delighted with the enthusiastic fan response to the Toyota Racing Dream Build Challenge. We wanted to make sure the Grand Prize winner would have a truly memorable race experience, wherever they choose to go.”

Recently autonews.com interviewed Jack Hollis, the Marketing Vice President of the Toyota Division.  Hollis touched on some important factors of selling Toyota cars in this upcoming year.  One thing is for sure, marketing across all businesses will not be able to overlook the power of social media this year.  It has quickly become a rising star in the world of business and sales and people of all ages are turning to it when shopping for products.
