St Louis Toyota Cars Lead the Way

Toyota has always been known for their ability to lead the market in technological innovation.  They are always looking ahead towards future progression in automotive and they strive to consistently exceed their own expectations.  Time after time and year after year Toyota cars are awarded for everything from the best in fuel efficiency to the best in resale value and to earn anything less than a five star safety warning would mean it was time to go back to the drawing table for Toyota engineers.  Toyota was the first automaker to bring a compact crossover to the U.S. market and over the last few years their reputation in this segment has lost its appeal.  In true Toyota fashion, settling for anything less than the best is not an option, so Toyota put their best foot forward when designing the new 2014 Toyota RAV4.  Toyota says they hope the redesign will “erase that deficit and return the brand to the thick of the chase.”

Among the most notable changes to the new Toyota RAV4 are:

  • Upgraded transmission from a four-speed automatic to a six-speed automatic with sequential-shift gating.
  • Upscale interior designs and materials with taller/longer seats with a reclining second row.
  • Repositioned spare tire allowing for a rear lift gate.  In addition, the lift gate includes a custom setting option to control for garage space and set it to raise as high as you need it to.

For those who are more interested in upgraded features you may be interested in the Toyota RAV4 XLE.  According to Toyota, “The XLE trim level adds a bunch in additional content, but with less than $1500 price bump.”  The majority of RAV4 shoppers will likely choose the all-wheel-drive option and is available on all trim levels.
