Ford Challenges Toyota

Most recently, it was reported by autonews.com that Ford is coming after Toyota in the upcoming segment of electric vehicles.  Ford claims the new C-Max will top the best-selling Toyota Prius in both sales and mpg.  Toyota isn’t concerned as they have perfected the art of designing a great electric/hybrid vehicle.  While most manufacturers are in their infancy stages of making these cars, Toyota has been doing it for quite some time now and has already sold 4 million globally.  Some would call Toyota the Kind of Hybrids.

Recently autonews.com interviewed Jack Hollis, the Marketing Vice President of the Toyota Division.  Hollis touched on some important factors of selling Toyota cars in this upcoming year.  One thing is for sure, marketing across all businesses will not be able to overlook the power of social media this year.  It has quickly become a rising star in the world of business and sales and people of all ages are turning to it when shopping for products.
